The 2024 Park Nights season at Serpentine kicked off with the UK premiere of North Korea Dance from renowned choreographer Eun-Me Ahn and her dance company.
The piece explores the differences and similarities between North and South Korean dance and imagines a possible future beyond the border through shared movements.
Bringing out the beauty in stark contrasts and celebrating the grotesque and the minimal, the subtle and the extreme, Eun-Me Ahn’s compositions captivate audiences worldwide. For Park Nights 2024, she invited her audience on a very intimate journey to follow a dance between two divided nations.
