Dyson launches air purifying headset with built-in noise cancelling headphones

British technology company Dyson has unveiled Dyson Zone, a headset that filters air pollution and reduces unwanted noise to help people in urban environments breathe cleaner air and listen to music uninterrupted.

Designed to be worn while on the go, the headset has a removable plastic visor that wraps around the front of the face and filters out minute air particles such as allergens, gases and dust.

It is attached to a pair of cushioned headphones that incorporate active noise cancellation, helping to block out urban noise pollution.

With four air purification modes – low, medium, high and auto – the visor works using the same air compression technology found in Dyson’s bagless vacuum cleaners, hand-drying products and cordless hairdryers.
