Performance Year Zero is a series of works by contemporary artists exploring the language of performance as it is passed through one generation of artist to the next.
Featured artists include Keren Cytter whose work explores the artifice of performance and its presentation of human relationships; Nina Beier whose concern is with cultural history and how it is accessed through performance and Anthea Hamilton who seeks to understand how human behaviour can be transferred and mutated from one culture to another.
