Tom with Satori Graphics back with another graphic design Illustrator tutorial; today I show you how to add texture to any design in Illustrator with this technique. I explain the process whilst we design this cool vintage vector logo, which I am sure you will agree is pretty cool looking. The thing about the vector logo design though is that it is fairly simple to design! We will be utilising the transparency window to add a mask in Illustrator. So I hope you can follow along as we design this vintage vector logo in Illustrator.

As I mentioned the logo design tutorial is fairly simple and straight forward, and I will show you how to make a vintage logo design with vintage texture in a matter of minutes. The easy to follow step by step manner of this Illustrator tutorial, ensures that even as a beginner with the software and logo design, you should be able to pick up the method pretty easily and quickly.

I really do love this style of Illustrator logo design, and I didn’t know how to add texture to my own designs in Illustrator for quite some time. But once I found out this technique, I started throwing it all over my designs! Of course, it should be used when the right design comes along, and for this specific vintage style vector logo design, I think it matches perfectly!
