Craig Hodgetts continues discussing Studio Work’s ideas and processes. He and Robert Mangurian reflect on their shared interest of building with Erector Sets and making model airplanes. They relate model making to their interest in part-to-whole relationships, and working with the limitations of technology. Mangurian shows slides of their corrugated cardboard furniture and discusses the collaborative process of the furniture’s fabrication.

Mangurian discusses building materials including the use of asbestos cement cladding systems. He discusses flooring and roofing systems, and a galvanized metal radiator system and columns. Hodgetts explains their interest in collaboration.
