In this exclusive video, Dezeen unveils this year’s Serpentine Pavilion, designed by Bangladeshi architect Marina Tabassum.
Tabassum pavilion marks the 25th anniversary of the Serpentine’s annual commission. The structure, named A Capsule in Time, plays with ideas of temporality and ephemerality, as well as drawing on Bangladeshi culture and environment.
The pavilion opens to the public on 6 June, and will run until 26 October 2025. The structure will also play host to a programme of music, dance and artistic performances throughout the summer.
