In this video, we’ll create custom collection of images according to your taste. Whenever we import images into Lightroom, there are some images that are totally unacceptable, like, maybe the flash did not fire, or it is too dark or too bright, some images are acceptable while some are exceptionally beautiful. These beautiful images are the one that you care about and show to others.

So, instead of searching for the best images time and again, we will first sort and reject the bad images. Then we will select the good images and create a collection out of it. Also, we will create a collection of the best ones. You can also create collections based on the category. For example, if you’re shooting a wedding, for different events, you can have different collections.

But, now that you have so many collections, we will create a collection set of all the sub collections thus making it simpler for you to keep images organized and find them easily whenever you want.

In Digital Photography, as in Lightroom, you first have to organize and sort your images first and then develop or edit them, wheres in film, you had to develop first and sort out later. This saves you a lot of time as you retouch and edit only those photos that are great.
