As we toured the property, it was easy to realize how elevated and private this modern home felt considering it is in a dense neighborhood. Beautiful finishes with modern details through out. White stucco finish and wood cladding creates a perfect balance of modern exterior finish. Open floor plan through out really maximizes the use of the space as well as making the house flow from room to room. My favorite part of the home were the backyard space, guest house and the roof top deck. Considering its size, they made the best of backyard space by building an above ground pool. Guest house (Adu) was a big surprise as we realized house spacious it was. 3 bedroom 2 bath lay out made us feel like we were touring another home within the same lot. Rooftop was final touch that really took our breaths away. It is so high up that it clear all the neighbors around and gets a perfect view of the city through out. On a clear day you can easily see Downtown Los Angeles. This home is a prime example of a real estate development and I am very happy that we were the first one to tour and showcase this property.
Cheviot Hills is a neighborhood of single-family homes on the Westside of the city of Los Angeles, California.Founded in 1924, the neighborhood has been the filming location of countless movies and television shows due to its convenient location between Fox Studios and Sony Studios. The neighborhood has also long been home to many actors, television personalities, and studio executives.Almost all of today’s Cheviot Hills was within the Spanish land grant known as Rancho Rincon de los Bueyes. Largely undeveloped until the 1920s, initial construction in the residential section west of Motor Avenue dates to the 1920s. Much of the neighborhood east of Motor Avenue and south of Forrester Drive was built on the site of the former California Country Club, and the residences date to the early 1950s.The neighborhood features several homes by prominent architects, such as the Strauss-Lewis House by Raphael Soriano and the Harry Culver Estate, designed by Wallace Neff. According to The New York Times, Cheviot Hills is bounded by the northern limits of the Rancho Park Golf Course and the Hillcrest Country Club to the north, Patricia Avenue and Manning Avenue to the west and southwest, and Beverwil Drive and Castle Heights Avenue to the east and southeast.(Wikipedia)
