Symposium looking anew at the lives of Peter and Alison Smithson and their works, including the Hunstanton School and Economist Building, and the Parallel of Life and Art, Patio and Pavilion and This is Tomorrow exhibitions. The Smithsons never stopped returning to earlier projects. For them it was a crucial exercise to re-examine and, if necessary, revise ideas in the light of new developments both in their own thinking and in the larger world.
