Well known for its innovative products such as Ajusté™, its modular carpet — for which they won the Ferdie prize in 2008 — or its matchless mats, they are proud to present you with their new selection Découpé™ with openwork motifs. Last May, it received first prize from the design jury at SIDIM 2010 (Montreal International Interior Design Show). Couper-Croiser will now present its most recent creation at « La vitrine du design Québécois » in New York city this September 2010.

The studio
The Couper Croiser studio, founded in 2006, has been making its mark in carpet design. The company’s approach is unique: it is based on a new, multifaceted way of working with materials involving the calculated use of textures, colours, and processing techniques. 

Awards and media
It has not taken long for the studio to win awards and earn media coverage for its innovative products. First, it received young designers award at the Prix Intérieurs-FERDIE* in 2008 for its Ajusté™ modular carpet, then first prize from the design jury at SIDIM** 2010 for its Découpé™ rugs. 

The studio is now preparing, slowly but surely, to make its name beyond Quebec. The Montreal studio was invited to participate in the 2010 Shanghai World Fair. Regarding its sales stores, Couper Croiser’s products are from now on available at Urban Mode boutique in Toronto. As in for now, a « premiere » in New York.

Newly available : DÉCOUPÉ™ carpet
Large-format indoor rugs with openwork motifs. Designed for residential use, they may also be used in high-traffic areas. They are comfortable, very resistant, and available in a number of attractive colours. Short curled synthetic nylon fibres.
