With “LABONI”, Volentis GmbH has developed a premium brand for dog furniture that has been honored with several prices at the 10th International Design Awards (IDA). Whether for sleeping, eating or playing, the exclusive products of the Swiss company offer sophisticated design, high functionality and innovative materials.

An important aspect of the corporate philosophy is the commitment to uncompromising quality. For this reason, raw materials from world leading suppliers are used for the products, which otherwise can only be found in luxury furniture for humans. In doing so, the company redefines the limits of material quality and functionality of dog products and creates a high-quality alternative to existing products.

This obviously must have convinced the IDA jury as Volentis did not only win a Gold Award for its design dog feeder ROCKY but also received two Silver Awards for its dog bed COSMOPOLITAN and for its iconic dog toy collection LABONI TOYS.

The IDA Gold and Silver awards are the second design prices Volentis has won this year after receiving an award from the European Product Design Award Competition earlier this year.

Project Description IDA Gold Award Winner – ROCKY

Rocky is made of Finnish soapstone, an extremely sturdy material that is more than two billion years old and by nature perfectly suited for in- and outdoor use. The feeder is handcrafted in a classic Nordic design and is characterized by its simple, aesthetic shape and pleasant feel. Soapstone is a very dense and heavy material with unique properties. Drinking water stays cool and fresh for many hours due to the exceptional temperature storage capacity. The material does not absorb tastes or bacteria because of its low porosity. Pets love the LABONI feeders as food or water don’t take on the metallic or plastic taste compared to common bowls. Rocky is also suitable for dogs suffering from allergies as it is a pure natural product that has been tested and approved to be used for human food. All feeders are dishwasher-proof and very easy to care for.
