Ryan Gander takes the audience on a tour of his recent work, including a design for a dual-purpose Arts Centre and School of Art based loosely on Jeremy Bentham’s Panopticon and a video installation of a professional ghostwriter who he commissioned to interview Rem Koolhaas and Hans Ulrich-Obrist in the 2006 Serpentine Pavilion (after their own 24-hour interview marathon).
Ryan Gander studied interactive art at MMU in Manchester. He has published the artist’s book Appendix, produced a solo show for the Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam, and won the Prix de Rome for sculpture. His work has been exhibited widely.
