Rhino SubD Tools are getting better with each new release! In this tutorial, we are going to be using Rhino 7 WIP with SubD Tools to create a curved wall geometry based on UAE Pavilion from Milan Expo in 2015, designed by Foster and Partners.
Combining the power of Rhino SubD Tools with native Rhino tools and Grasshopper really makes creating any type of free form complex shape so much easier than before. We’ve used a couple of different modeling techniques here to create the curvature of the wall and applying 3D sand dune texture on it.
