Redesigning the world | Talks | Dezeen

Dezeen has teamed up with Twinmotion to host a live panel discussion exploring the work of creatives and scientists who are reimagining planet Earth.

Architects and designers are increasingly turning their attention to redesigning the world in an attempt to address issues such as climate change, habitat destruction and human overpopulation.

But how do we go about this? Is it a worthwhile aim? And what role will technology have to play?

This Dezeen talk, which brings together experts from the worlds of architecture, film and technology, will attempt to answer these questions.

Speakers include:

Creative director and production designer Alex McDowell
Speculative architect and filmmaker Liam Young
Geographer and environmental social scientist Holly Jean Buck
Belinda Ercan from Epic Games

The talk, which is moderated by Dezeen’s editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs, coincides with Dezeen’s Redesign the World competition powered by Twinmotion, which calls for radical proposals to rethink the planet.
