Ramiro Diaz-Granados proposes that his work can be understood in terms of two conditions–the cartoonish and the visceral–which are often in opposition, but can be combined. He discusses a range of projects, from the C-Hub boardroom table in the Kappe Library to a bicycle infrastructure for Manhattan, focusing on a house in Mount Washington. Diaz-Granados concludes by discussing several projects that have come out of his interest in electric fields, including an office building for the Peace Pentagon, the Go Figure installation in the SCI-Arc gallery, and a proposal for a pavilion for SCI-Arc.
