On documenting forms of industry: A conversation with photographer Alastair Philip Wiper



Hear a conversation between award winning photographer Alastair Philip Wiper and Thames & Hudson commissioning editor Andrew Sanigar, as part of our London Festival of Architecture programme.

This is a recording of a virtual event that took place on 11 June 2021.

This intimate conversation brought together Wiper and Sanigar to discuss in detail the subject and context of Wiper’s large scale works, which highlight the complexity of mass production and consumerism and their intricate relationship with the environment.

Speakers: Alastair Philip Wiper is an award winning photographer and has been commissioned by architectural and design magazines such as Blueprint, Wallpaper, Icon, Vice, Domus, Wired, The Telegraph and The Guardian.
Andrew Sanigar is a Commissioning Editor for Photography and Design at Thames & Hudson, where his role is to develop the company’s programme of photography publications.
