Oberlander Prize Forum II: Danielle Toronyi and Max Dickson

OLIN firm employees Toronyi, Research Development and Knowledge Manager, and Dickson, Landscape Designer, discuss projects within the company’s Emergent Research Initiatives division. Toronyi addresses OLIN Labs, a conduit between academia and practice, focuses on improving access and inclusion of disabled people in the public realm with an emphasis on how neurodivergent individuals hear and sense city. Dickson presents PrideScapes, a program that broadens the visibility, research, and discussion of LGBTQ+ landscapes, histories, and memorials. Through collaboration, Toronyi and Dickson advocate for and raise the visibility of marginalized communities. This event is part of the public engagement associated with the Cornelia Hahn Oberlander International Landscape Architecture Prize and took place on October 28, 2022, at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas, TX.
