NLA PechaKucha – Capital ideas for London’s streets

An evening of quick-fire presentations, powered by PechaKucha, invited a series speakers to put forward their ‘Capital Ideas’ for improving London’s streets and roads.

‘Capital Ideas’ are hypothetical but realistic proposals to make London a better place. These industry professionals use forward thinking to address such key issues as freight management, technology and cycling infrastructure.

Speakers:
Fred Pilbrow, Founding Partner, Pilbrow & Partners
Ross Atkin, Director, Ross Atkin Associates
Nigel Symonds, Business Development Manager, LB Camden
Sophie Thompson, Director, LDA Design
Will Sandy, Creative Director, The Edible Bus Stop

Pechakucha evenings were invented by the British architect Mark Dytham, and have turned into a massive celebration of design across the world. Each speaker is allowed 20 images, each on screen for 20 seconds – the format is quick and inventive!
