NFT artwork up for auction includes house in California

This piece of video artwork by Kii Arens is up for sale as an NFT and comes with the physical house in Thousand Oaks, California, that it’s based on.

The 45-second video depicts a gabled house rendered in bright colours as the sun sets and the San Gabriel Mountains rise up behind it as the stars, the moon and several spaceships zoom into view.

American pop artist and graphic designer Arens was commissioned by a real estate agent Shane Dulgeroff, who claims to be the first to pioneer an NFT to sell a real house

“When I learned about the NFT space I saw a unique opportunity to utilise a platform which has more technologies and opportunity behind it than a standard home sale,” Dulgeroff told Dezeen.

“I immediately knew that I needed to be the very first person to explore this space.”
