Neville Mars began his career at OMA, and later founded of Dynamic City Foundation (DCF) in Beijing, which focuses on research and development to support the evolution of Chinese urbanism. Mars presents research from his book The Chinese Dream: A Society Under Construction, which considers urban planning issues such as migration patterns, density, and sprawl. He also presents ideas for the development of Chinese cities including hybrid people-moving systems, mixed-class residential towers, and a proposal for inhabiting open waters with a giant nuclear powered ship/platform.
