Neri&Hu “sliced open” a new hotel in Shenzhen to invite street life in



Chinese studio Neri&Hu has converted a nine-story residential building into a guesthouse in Nantou City in Shenzhen, China.

Designed to reflect the cultural heritage and open to everyday life within the urban village, the Shanghai-based studio cut open the original building structure, revealing different layers of materials and building structures to the public.
