Morten Kabell is the CEO of Copenhagenize Design Company and the former Mayor of Technical and Environmental affairs in Copenhagen. A proud Copenhagener at heart, Morten has made a career of building and managing organizations with real impact. Copenhagenize Design Company is a multi-disciplinary “go-to team” for cities in all matters relating to bicycle culture, planning, traffic and communications. They approach every job from a human-centered perspective – using design, anthropology, sociology and common sense as points of departure. In 2012, he became a member of the Congestion Commission and in 2015, he became board member of CPH City & Port Development project, working on building a new quarter of Copenhagen housing 60,000 inhabitants and more than 100,000 jobs.
