Messages from Shanghai architects – Coping with COVID-19 | Andy Kershaw, Broadway Malyann



Andy Kershaw is an Associate Director at architectural practice Broadway Malyan, based in Shanghai, China. He reflects on a city that was operating under restrictions during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. They are now back in the office, and are using their experiences of home working to adapt their European and other international operations. He has a positive message for architects across the globe who are currently facing the challenges that this global pandemic brings: “We have come through the other side, it’s important to be positive. We are in a profession that can adapt quite quickly… everything has started to open again and life is resuming … We will get there, we will get through it.”
