Low-poly Crosshatch Vector Design with Adobe Illustrator CC

This time we will be creating a low-poly crosshatch vector portrait. We will cover a lot of things including creating crosshatch patterns, drawing polygons efficiently with the Path Average and Join features, creating variations with the Transform panel settings, using an Opacity Mask for coloring and so much more in this Adobe Illustrator tutorial.

In this video, we will learn how to create a low-poly cross-hatching vector art design with Adobe Illustrator. I will be using black and white lines to give the illusion of tone or shade in your vector drawing. Hatching is filling in an area with parallel lines in order to create an illusion of a tone or a shade which by definition, has only two tones Black and White.
