London and Sydney: polycentric cities

According to the Sydney Plan, a “30-minute city” is one where, no matter where you live, you can easily access the places you need to visit on a daily basis. As Sydney and London evolve as polycentric cities, how are we addressing liveability? Are we successfully creating 30-minute cities? How are both cities planning for rapid growth and addressing key issues such as housing delivery and transport provision?

NLA invites dialogue between Sydney and London to share best practice and learning. Speakers in Sydney will join speakers in London via live video seminar, presenting to a London audience to foster cross-city dialogue.

This event is a key part of the NLA International programme which brings together cities for discussion and debate.
