LANZA atelier founders, Isabel Abascal and Alessandro Arienzo tell us about their studio and design for this year’s Serpentine Pavilion.
The Mexico City-based architects describe their practice, which ranges from furniture to exhibition design to houses, as rooted in the natural environment and the handmade.
For this year’s Serpentine commission, they have designed a Pavilion titled ‘a serpentine’. It features an undulating brick wall that splits the lawn into two, with a covered space to the north and an open space to the south.
