Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen reflects on the influence of Danish design in a short film by Vola



Dezeen promotion: Danish tap manufacturer Vola has released a short film that explores the heritage of Danish design in the words of Norm Architects’ founding partner Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen.

Titled Danish Design and the Future, the video is the first in a series of short films centred around architecture and design that have been launched on Vola’s new web-based platform called On Design.

In the film, Bjerre-Poulsen shares his thoughts on the heritage of Danish design, as well as his own experience of growing up in Denmark and the ways in which design is embedded into the Danish culture.
