JOKI Bench and DOM·I·NO Candle Holder
KAYIWA
Helsinki, Finland, 2012-05-24 –
JOKI is Finnish for river, which inspired the bench’s form. Its contours of varying heights and widths allow various sitting postures for both children and adults of all shapes and sizes.
Inspired by dominos, the minimalist tealight candle holders may be arranged and/or used as many as one pleases.
Each JOKI set consists of four seats although several sets may be conjoined, as both of its extreme ends are modular. The bench’s seats may also be used independently. Without giving too much away, JOKI comes in a rich lacquer finish.
