Young Architects Forum 2007: Proof
Recorded: May 17, 2007

Ivan Hernandez Quintela founded ludens in 2002. Based in Mexico City, the firm critically studies “how objects and spaces tend to affect one’s behavior, not by becoming neutral or unaffecting mechanisms, but by becoming interactive mechanisms, capable of transformation by their users.” Quintela received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas, Austin, and is adjunct design professor in the Architecture and Urbanism Department at the Universidad Iberoamericana.

The Architectural League’s Young Architects Forum (now known as The Architectural League Prize) is an annual competition and series of lectures and exhibitions organized by the Architectural League and its Young Architects Committee. The Forum was established to recognize specific works of high quality and to encourage the exchange of ideas among young people who might otherwise not have a forum.
