Haegue Yang is a South Korean artist working largely in performance and video art.
Her installation in Tate Modern’s Tanks, ‘Dress Vehicles’, comprises intricately constructed metal structures that performers move around on wheels.
Light projections, triggered by the audience’s use of a drum-kit and microphone, interact with the moving structures, creating a spontaneous interplay between light, sound and performance.
