Foster + Partners launches integrated building services system



British architect Foster + Partners has released Node, a building services system that integrates lighting, security, fire prevention and ventilation.

The system has been designed by the Norman Foster-led practice in collaboration with lighting company Artemide and heating and ventilation company Price Industries.

It consists of a range of devices including lights, sprinklers, speakers, occupancy sensors, and cameras integrated into a system that can either be mounted on, or within, a ceiling.
