A common criticism you hear in architecture school is “you had really exciting early study models, but somewhere along the way, you lost that excitement.” But getting a design to look kind of boring is sometimes part of the process. Don’t over-react and make crazy buildings, just take it a few more steps forward. Look back at your early study models, and try to see what made them exciting and try to bring those qualities back into the design as it stands.
