Architecture and Situated Technologies was a 3-day symposium presented by The Architectural League from October 19-21, 2006, that brought together researchers and practitioners from art, architecture, technology, and sociology to explore the emerging role of “situated” technologies in the design and inhabitation of the contemporary metropolis. Eric Paulos is a Research Scientist at Intel in Berkeley, CA, where he leads the Urban Atmospheres project. He received a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California.
