Dwayne Jones, executive director of the Galveston Historical Foundation, kicked off the Texas A&M Center for Heritage Conservation’s 2013 symposium March 1 with a keynote address at the StageCenter Community Theatre in Bryan detailing the foundation’s efforts to preserve Galveston’s rich history.
