Doug Patt & How to Architect’s 2019 Mentor Program

This video is about the How to Architect 2019 Mentor Program. Over the years I’ve been asked for architecture and career advice from many viewers. Sometimes the questions are simple but many times they are not. In these cases the best guidance came with coaching and dialogue. So I am starting a mentor program in 2019. It’s free to participate – I’m not selling anything. I will select five people of any age, gender, race or location. The only caveat is that you must speak English. We will meet individually for 30 minutes once a month for 6 months by Skype or Hangout. The purpose is to help you figure out what you’d like to pursue—even if it’s not architecture. So you may be trying to figure out if you could be an architect, whether you would like to go to school to become one, or you are thinking of changing careers or you’d like advice about college, where you should go, or what to study. Besides being a licensed US architect I’m an entrepreneur, inventor, patent holder, product developer, teacher, artist and youtube creator. I’ve done a lot over the years and many times wished I had a mentor to help me navigate so I want to help guide you in the right direction. So. If you’re interested write a paragraph about yourself, 500 words or less. Explain what your interest is, where you could use help and why you would benefit from being mentored. Email me at the address in the description box below. I’ll contact those chosen at the end of February. We start March 1 2019. Deadline for applications is February 28 but don’t delay, the sooner the better to get your description in. I look forward to getting the mentor program started. I’m Doug Patt. We’ll see you next time.
