This video covers a topic that can make a lot of designers pretty angry, and that’s spec work, contests (which is treated the same as spec work in this video), and the website Fiverr.
Ultimately it’s on you to decide what your time is worth when you’re designing, and whether or not things like spec work or services like Fiverr are the right avenue for you to go down. I go over my thoughts on these things in this video, and will hopefully provide you with some good insight to keep yourself working smart if you decide to go down either one of these directions.
