Hosted by the Student Planners Association (SPA), this virtual event includes a presentation by Lee Householder and Matt Morgan from project:HOMES, a nonprofit organization based in Richmond. They will discuss their affordable housing and energy conservation work which will be followed by a Q+A giving attendees, especially students, an opportunity to ask questions related to project:HOMES, affordable housing, and general career advice.
Since 1992, project:HOMES has followed a mission of “improving lives by improving homes.” The goal of project:HOMES is to improve the safety, accessibility & energy efficiency of existing houses and build high quality affordable housing throughout Central Virginia. At project:HOMES we serve low-income individuals and families by making critical home-safety repairs, accessibility modifications and implementing energy conservation measures in their homes.
