#FAV 2014 in Montpellier

The 9th edition in Montpellier rewarded 3 architectural works.

The Jury Prize was given to MoonWalkLocal for Savon[s] in the courtyard of the hostel of Mirman. The Jury was seduced by the installation and by the approach of the architects who have designed it and build it. Soap enter into architecture offering aesthetic, perfume and sensuality.

The Public prize went to Marie Beniguel, Johana Boktor and Frédéric Madre, creators of

Cache-cache, country style installation in hostel of Audessan.

Alban Guého received a Special mention. Medusa, its work presented at hostel of Griffy catched the interest of the jury owing to its worrying sensuality, inspired by the myths.

FAV 2014 in Montpellier ended on the 15th of june and started again on the 21th of june in La Grande Motte, with new creations still unknown from the public, except through the picture of the selected architects.

#FAV 2014 in La Grande Motte !

On Friday, june the 27th took place the ceremony awards of the FAV in La Grande Motte.

On the same theme Sensuality, 4 awards were given among the 7 installation of La Grande Motte.

Two special mentions was given.

Special mention :

Onde Sensuelle by Marion Moustey and Alexandre Arcens
The installation on the water  sur l’eau lighted up at night, offering a night variant for the walker.

Special mention :

Cloud Garden by DOTS, binomial composed of Akari Takebayashi and Jason Scroggin
In the patio of St Augustin’s Church, the work allowed many visitors to dream. It was like a break on the course, to have a rest or spend a calm moment.

Public Prize and Jury Prize :

Majestic, Breath Box by NAS Architecture was elected by the public. It also won the hearts of the jury. Two prices were given to this installation which combines metal and wood in front of the sea.
