For the short film On Time, American artist duo Gérard & Kelly respond to the modernist architecture of Villa Benkemoun in Arles, France, offering a cinematic interpretation of their live performance ‘Clockwork’ – curated by Raphaël Giannesini, and presented during Les Rencontres d’Arles 2026. Created in dialogue with French architect Émile Sala’s 1974-designed residence, the evocative movement piece reflects on the passage of time and fleeting moments of everyday life, restoring the intimacy of domestic space to an architectural icon marked by its asymmetry and organic curving form.
