Speaker: Inés Zalduendo, Harvard University, Boston

Filmed 17 October 2013 at the RIBA, 66 Portland Place, London

Inés Zalduendo reviews the ‘history’ of archiving digital design materials through projects initiated in 2003 by the Art Institute of Chicago and the Gau:di programme and discusses continued work through DURAARK and FACADE2.

Recorded at the ‘Archiving the Digital: Current Efforts to Preserve Design Records’, a two-day conference organised by the British Architectural Library (RIBA) and the Victoria and Albert Museum to raise awareness about the continued need for collaborative efforts to manage and preserve digital design records/data.
