Architecture on Stage: Neil Gillespie, Reiach and Hall

In a talk entitled In Two Minds, the practice’s director Neil Gillespie turns his attention to a curated handful of Reiach and Hall’s projects that carry particular personal meaning for him.

The Edinburgh-based Reiach and Hall is among the most highly regarded architectural practices operating in Scotland today.

Shortlisted on four occasions for the Stirling Prize, the firm has been responsible for work ranging in scale from private homes to hospitals and higher education facilities.

Founded in 1965, the practice has built a reputation across a remarkably wide range of building types, from urban masterplans and public infrastructure to universities, research institutes and private houses.

This lecture was recorded on May 26th 2026.
