An Interior Architect’s Own Mediterranean-Inspired Family Home

Georgia Ezra, an Interior Architect, bought this Spanish Mission home with her husband, Richard Morris, a builder in 2018. While the original home had good bones, the layout meant a lot of large unused rooms, so they undertook a renovation. They turned the existing living room into their own oasis, with a bedroom, walk-in-robe and ensuite, and the back of the home was transformed into a functional kitchen, dining and living area.

Georgia runs her own tiles business, Tiles of Ezra, and all of the tiles featured are from her collection. The floor tiles give warmth and texture, and the tiles are featured in all the bathrooms, the kitchen splashback and above the fireplace. The interior design has a strong Mediterranean style about it, and it transports anyone who walks through the front door out of Melbourne.
