Adam Chodzko at Tate St Ives | TateShots

Adam Chodzko takes us on a tour of his show at Tate St Ives. Amongst the pieces on show are a pair of hiker’s walking sticks containing a hidden compartment for vials of ecstasy (bringing new meaning to the notion of nature and the sublime), and a slide-show about one of his poetic interventions into everyday life in which he bought up all the green clothes from a charity shop in his home town in Kent and swapped them for all the red clothes at a thrift store in New York.

His work is as much about the imaginative narratives it conjures in the viewer’s mind as it is about physical objects in a gallery space.
