Declan McCafferty is a Partner with the renowned architecture practice Grimshaw.
He has over 20 years’ experience across a broad range of sectors, with recent emphasis on rail and transit hubs.
He led the redevelopment of Reading Station, the architectural concept design for London Bridge Station and currently leads on the design of Euston Station for HS2.
Here he demonstrates, in part via live sketching, aspects of the analytical thinking behind more permeable railway station layouts and design.
