AADLAB – Elisa Lubasser

Lecture date: 2016-07-26

Individualised Production, Aahen University, focuses on the use of innovative machinery in building production. In order to create an environment that allows the efficient, individualized production of lot size one, new and user friendly methods for man machine interaction are necessary. Combining the flexibility of robotics with intuitive methods for design oriented process planning and robot programming, the use of innovative fabrication processes by unpractised users becomes possible. The Chair of IP employs researchers from different fields of robotics and building production to streamline the necessary digital workflow from the initial design to the production process and construction site of the future via intuitive, easy-to-use interfaces.

The lecture is held by Elisa Lublasser who is research assistant as well as doctoral candidate at IP. Elisa was educated in the field of architecture. Her studies were accompanied by an interest in optimisation of design strategies through visual programming as well as integral working methods which then led her to IP. Within the interdisciplinary team her focus is on the topic of robotic disassembly and assembly processes in architecture.
