Ninja’s logo has gotten a lot of heat and backlash, and I do understand why because the logo design itself isn’t a masterpiece from a technical point of view. However, we need to think about this in terms of a brand. Also of course, comparing it to the original logo design, and how much the new logo helps the brand.
I personally feel that the new logo is iconic, it’s simple, and it does the job at being a logo that will stick in the mind of the target audience. Yes there can be improvements, and as I mention in the video, the logo is possibly too trendy and thus at risk of becoming outdated fairly easily. But it is for sure an improvement on the original in my honest opinion.
