This video is about May Lin and her winning competition entry for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC; The term ‘bead’ in mill working. The molding can be any size and serves as a decorative linear element on baseboards, panels, shelves or crowns; The island of Mont Saint Michel off of the coast of Normandy, France. The island was a monastery and a prison at various times. Today it’s visited by millions; The Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco designed by William Pereira; Fay Jones and his Thorncrown chapel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas built in 1980. It looks like a man made forest in a real one; The sixth phase of the architects work with a client called Construction Observation and Administration. In this phase the architect observes construction as a representative of the owner; Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers; Pompidou Center in Paris. The building appears inside out. it is a collage of structural elements, stairs, and colored pipes.
