In this video tutorial, we will discover how to optimize and speed up your Grasshopper workflow with 3 powerful plugins that you might not have known about.
The first one is Quick Connection, which allows you to easily connect components with inputs and outputs by predicting which component is being used. It provides a convenient way to add pre-defined sliders and panels.
The next plugin is Persistent Data Editor, which enables easy customization of components. We can define minimum and maximum values for number sliders, add decimals, turn on and off boolean containers, and generally add data directly into box inputs of components. It also offers features like the geometry gumball for moving, scaling, and rotating Gh geometry, adjusting the size and opacity of input/output icons, and customizing the position of the input boxes.
The third plugin is called pOd Grasshopper Button, which has several features, including reloading Grasshopper, enabling or disabling Rhino viewport within Gh, searching for components, clusters, and reference geometry, unlinking and changing the wire type mode, enabling auto backup, and changing the order of plugin tabs.
