2017 Fall Lecture Series: Volkan Alkanoglu



The School of Architecture welcomes Volkan Alkanoglu to the San Francisco campus for a lecture surrounding his career in design.

Alkanoglu is a designer based in Cambridge, MA. His work can be seen in locations such as Yeshiva Museum in New York, Slade Gallery in London, and Weissenhof Gallery in Stuttgart. He has received accolades for visionary spatial design proposals. Alkanoglu has collaborated with Future Systems in London and Asymptote Architecture in New York.
Volkan Alkanoglu is currently a Lecturer in Architecture at Harvard University, Graduate School of Design. He has taught at universities in Atlanta and Los Angeles.
Born in Turkey and raised in Germany, he studied architecture at the Peter Behrens School of Architecture in Düsseldorf and the Bartlett School of Architecture in London.
