Day 44 of the 100 Day Studio: As a profession that operates at the intersection of injustices, architects can no longer be silent on how our models for practice often perpetuate racial inequity and climate inaction. The second conversation organised by the Architecture Foundation’s Young Trustees highlights emerging frameworks for climate action and probes how they intersect with the fight against systems of oppression. The Young Trustees are in conversation with Seetal Solanki, Kat Scott and Julian Siravo. We seek to investigate how young architects can push for genuine change, either through their day to day work in practice or through the carving of new spaces for legislative intervention or activist communication.
